A note on e-mails
It is not our policy to provide directly-clickable personal email links, in an effort to minimise the chances of our addresses being used by those who send unsolicited emails, better known as SPAM. All staff can be reached by email in the form firstname.lastname@kclsu.org, e.g. ken.livingstone@kclsu.org
If you have received an email claiming to be from KCLSU, but don't think that it is, check its headers (most email programs will allow you to do this - 'headers' contain information about where the email came from). Among this information will be lots of 'Received' lines, describing the email's journey. Among these should be one or more of the following sets of numbers: 137.73.90, 159.92.75.
If neither of these numbers are there - the chances are that the mail is a fake.
