FIT
At university we're all faced with the pressures of studying, living away from home, managing finances and keeping your social life in tact. A little bit of stress in life is quite normal, and can help you in feeling motivated to perform to the best of your ability. But all too often it all becomes too much to cope with and leads to you feeling tired, helpless, alone and unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The information we've put together in this section of the website is designed to help you understand some of the causes of stress, anxiety and depression and to help you recognise the symptoms in yourself, or your friends.
We've also put in plenty of advice on what to do if you or a friend is struggling with any kind of mental illness, and links to some great websites and support groups.
Remember, you're not alone in feeling like this, and there is a lot of support and help around you. All you need to do is ask for it.
