What are by-elections? What are they used for?

  • The by-elections are elections to fill an empty position in the KCLSU Elections! Any empty positions in the KCLSU Elections will automatically be put into by-elections.

What do I need to do for roles to go into by-elections?

  • You don’t need to do anything! Any empty positions in the KCLSU Elections will automatically be pulled into by-elections.

What if a role remains vacant?

  • Any positions left empty in the first round of KCLSU Elections will automatically be pulled into by-elections. Unfortunately, if they are left empty after by-elections, that role will not be part of your committee next year.

What if someone withdraws after being elected to a role?

  • If someone withdraws after they have been elected to a position, please reach out to [email protected].
