Overview

It Happens Here KCL will be running an exhibition, titled 'What Were You Wearing' from March 7th-9th in The Studio in Bush House (from 9am-10pm on those days). Our exhibition seeks to share the stories of survivors of sexual violence in our community through exhibiting the items worn at the time, alongside other forms of expression by survivors, such as short stories, poetry, paintings, drawings, etc. It aims to challenge the common idea that clothing can be "provocative" and justify sexual violence as well raise awareness about sexual harassment, violence and assault. This will also be a way of giving the students at King's a voice and platform of their own.
