Overview

Join producer and artist Hana Ayoob for a fun and creative workshop making postcards from recycled materials. You'll explore collaging techniques and different ways to combine pattern, colour and texture to create simple and beautiful designs.

February is LGBT+ History Month and, during the first week, the KCL LGBT+ Society and KCLSU will be exploring mental health. To end the week on a positive note, this workshop will explore creativity as a positive wellbeing practice. After the workshop you are invited to join a short discussion about the role of staying connected with your LGBT+ community and reaching out to friends that you may have not spoken to in a while (perhaps by sending them your postcard!)

Materials: scissors, glue or tape, recycled materials including at least one piece of card e.g. the side of a cereal box. You may also wish to use pens, pencils, paints and magazines - anything you can make a mark with or stick to your postcard!

Link to purchase (free) event tickets will be shared shortly.
