Overview

Lifestyle Medicine Society is working with the Charity Migrateful to run a virtual Zoom cooking workshop run by one of their chefs Mejeda, a Syrian refugee.

This event will be an interactive cooking lesson and you will be sent the ingredients list to buy before the event. The ticket price is for one Zoom screen/household.

This is a members only event so please also purchase your KCL LifeMed membership, however the £15 for the class will go entirely to the charity Migrateful to support their fantastic work- we look forward to seeing you there!

Migrateful's Charity Statement
'Recipes rebuilding lives' Migrateful runs cookery classes led by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants struggling to integrate and access employment. The cookery classes provide ideal conditions not just for learning English and building confidence, but also for promoting contact and cultural exchange with the wider community.
