How Groups Work

Independent Societies

KCLSU is an educational charity. We believe that our co-curricular education outside the classroom is just as valuable a part of our university education as our work within it. As a Union, we support over 300 societies and activity groups so that together we can explore a diverse range of interests and subjects, ranging from faith to the arts, and from politics to food. So whether it’s the GKT Medical Students' Association or the Harry Potter Society that grabs your interest, there’s something for everyone! We pride ourselves on how active our groups are with thousands of society-led events for students to get involved with each year.

Each society is responsible for its own events, social media posts, and activities and the views of our ratified societies are their own and do not necessarily reflect the official position of KCLSU.
