King’s Innovative and Sustainable Dentistry (KISD) is ONE society with TWO values at its core:
1. Keep dental students at the forefront of technological innovations, allowing the integration of technology into routine practices in the future.
2. Raise awareness about the impact of dentistry on the environment and give students the tools to practice dentistry sustainably.
By bringing people who share our passion for dental innovation and the sustainable future of dentistry together, we hope that we can collectively increase acceptance of integrating technology as part of routine practice and revolutionise patient experience.
We hope to expose students to leading researchers in their field in order to gain insights into the evolution of dentistry.
We welcome anyone who shares our drive for sustainability and dental innovation and would like to take part in any of the activities we are aiming to deliver.
We also hope to develop a welcoming and social environment where members can build new relationships alongside learning about the latest advancements in dental technology and sustainable practices.
