Founded just last year, the KCL Mauritian Society aims to promote the Mauritian culture amongst the KCL student body, helping them discover our rich heritage, amazing food, the warmth of our people and all the incredible values that make us who we are. Furthermore, as we know that being miles away from home can be a real challenge, we help our members cope with university life better by giving support, advice and tips to make the most of King's.
The events we have planned for this year include a welcome event for our freshers, a celebration night for Independence Day, movies and games nights, and also a project to give better opportunities for electives in Mauritius, especially for our medical students.
