King’s College London Neuroscience Society (KCL NeuroSoc) was founded in 2005 with the aim to unite students who share an interest in Neuroscience. We work closely alongside the Neuroscience department of KCL, as well as other Neuroscience societies around London.
Our activities include talks from pioneering experts on topics such as Neuropharmacology and mental illnesses. We host social events, revision sessions, and some career talks to encourage discussion between students from different backgrounds to share study techniques, career prospects, and just to relax from studying.
KCL NeuroSoc brings together all students including Masters, PhD and Medics, past and present, to create strong bonds between the Neuroscience community and provide advice throughout their academic career.
We also post our own journal, Neurosphere, on our website, and this is a great chance to get involved and write some scientific articles!
Membership to the society is £5 per year, which provides free or significantly discounted entrance to our events. You can become a member by joining us online, or by signing up in person at the KCL Student Union in The West Wing, Guy’s Campus.
