Since its foundation, mixing tradition and innovation, the KCL Italian society has always researched and developed new strategies to promote the excellence of Italian culture, both at King's College London and outside. We are proud to be an ambassador of Italian history, language and lifestyle in London's vibrant and multicultural community. Aiming at bridging ideas and cultures, we regularly organise events ranging from panel discussions and seminars, to social events such as aperitivi and dinners, film screenings and much more.
The Society is run by an elected committee for the benefit of its members. In addition to a varied programme of social and sporting events, we organize lectures, conferences and debates which are open to the general public. Always adopting a non-partisan position, the Society is regularly addressed by distinguished and respected speakers who in the past have included Bill Emmott, Domenico Siniscalco, Cécile Kyenge and other leading journalists, politicians and businessmen.
