Established in 2015 after gaining independence from the joint King’s College London Malaysian & Singaporean Society, KCL Malaysian Society (KCLMSoc) is a social and cultural society for Malaysian and non-Malaysian students alike at King’s.
Located in the heart of London, our student society is reflective of the city’s melting pot of cultures, including the thriving Malaysian student diaspora. At King’s, we have almost 400 Malaysian students, with nearly 200 of them being full-time Malaysian Society (MSoc) members. However, members do not have to be from Malaysia, we also have students from Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong and the UK.
Our mission is to represent all Malaysians at King’s and provide Malaysians with a supportive network during their studies at King's. After 9 years of constant participation by our members, we have successfully built and fostered a tight-knit community of Malaysians at King’s.
We aim to be a vibrant addition to student life at King's - so watch out for our various social, cultural and educational activities - including our flagship events like the Orientation Picnic and the Malaysian Night (MNight). Follow us on our Instagram (@kclmsoc) and join our WhatsApp community to learn more about us and get live updates about our events!
