We are the King's College London St John Ambulance society, providing students from all departments with the opportunity to learn about and practise essential first aid and life saving skills. We welcome all skill levels at any time during the year, so whether you are already a first aid pro or just want to see what you can learn, come and have a go! We organise weekly training sessions from 19:00 to 20:30 on Tuesdays on 160 Borough High Street, London, SE1 1LB.
The membership fee is £5 for the year, which covers all society training, as well as any St John Ambulance training courses and DBS checks completed for volunteer qualification. You will also be provided with uniform and equipment as needed.

We are also the King's College student volunteering unit of SJA, where our members can become qualified as active volunteers for the organisaiton in roles such as event first aiders (i.e. at football or tennis matches, music events, marathons) and logistics members. This is an incredible opportunity to gain some practical experience, use the skills you have learned and make a difference in the wider community.
