How to Enter a BUCS Competition

Visit the BUCS Events page by clicking this link https://www.bucs.org.uk/events-listing.html to see a full list of events offered by BUCS. Please take extra note of the entry deadline (usually on a Tuesday) for each event. All entries have to be approved by KCLSU by the approval deadline (usually on a Thursday). 

If you wish to enter individual competitions, please ask all members to apply to join the event on BUCS Play. Once everyone has entered, email a complete list of entries in ranked order (best downwards) for each event to [email protected] for approval.  

If you are entering a team competition, just email [email protected] with a list of the teams you wish to enter, a captain for each team and the names of the people within each team. A member of KCLSU will then create these teams for you and notify you when this has been completed, competitors can then join their respective team. Once the competition is over you can claim a reimbursement from KCLSU for the following: 

• Travel: £25 per competitor  

• Accommodation: £50 per competitor for the night and an additional £25 for a second night if needed 

Just fill in the BUCS Comp Reimbursement Form and send it to [email protected] and the reimbursement amount will be sent into the club’s account. KCLSU cannot reimburse individuals personal accounts, this must be done through eXpense365 and approved by the club treasurer.
