Wellbeing Projects Assistant

You will be paid £11.95 per hour plus 12.07% holiday pay which equates to £13.39 for every hour worked.

Part time, 12 hours per week (Sept - July but flexible)

KCLSU has a new exciting opportunity to join the Wellbeing Team!

As part of your role, you will play a key role in:

  • Monitoring the relevant department inboxes and respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner or forwarding to relevant staff member.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks to support the work of KCLSU Wellbeing including the Peer Support Development Project, Peer Support services and Wellbeing events (e.g. scheduling rotas, booking rooms, organising meetings, taking minutes)
  • Occasionally representing KCLSU Wellbeing at events (e.g. Welcome) where you would need to engage with students and promote our service.
  • Acting as Project Assistant on KCLSU Wellbeing events including providing in-person support during project delivery (e.g. Wellbeing Week, Take Time Out and Sexual Health & Guidance Week)
  • Overseeing the KCLSU Wellbeing social media and newsletters including creating engaging content and responding to any queries via these platforms
  • Contributing to work to evaluate and improve our service including analysing data and writing reports
  • Building strong working relationships with other teams within KCLSU and King's to allow for effective collaboration
  • Attending regular team meetings and 1-2-1 meetings with the KCLSU Wellbeing team
  • Providing administrative and any other relevant support to assist with the delivery of with projects undertaken by members of the KCLSU Wellbeing team including but not limited to emails, promotion, support with event organising, updating website pages and other relevant administrative tasks.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this role you must:

  • Have a National Insurance number, or be in the process of applying for one
  • Not be a trustee of King’s College London Students’ UnionTrustees should not apply for a role whilst in their term of office, or should their application be accepted or progressed to the interview stage.
  • Ex-Trustees can apply for student staff (non-administrative) roles, as soon as they finish their tenure.
  • Ex-Trustees can apply for career staff / permanent staff roles, only after a year has passed of them being a trustee. Applications submitted within the year should not be accepted or progressed to the interview stage.
