1. Union bars or cafes
Visit one of the union bars or cafes for some super cheap food and drinks (including tonnes of vegan options!). Try the curly friesand chicken goujons combo – it’s a classic.
2. Go to the theatre
Watch The Lion King, Dream Girls, Kinky Boots and the other amazing musicals London has to offer after a busy day of lectures. You can find discounted student tickets here and all the theatres are in walking distance.
4. Join an activity group!
Join a dance class, practice your martial arts skills or talk about Harry Potter with one of our student activity groups. They often have free taster sessions and membership prices are often cheap as chips – or even free!
5. See the shard
Visit the Shard just outside London Bridge for the perfect view of London and a banging insta picture – or just look at it from the outside, it’s pretty mesmerising!
6. Head to Borough Market
Roam around Borough Market and have some yummy food at the various stalls and food places dotted around.
7. What about a market nearby?
If you don’t want to leave campus, there is also a smaller market in the quad of Guy’s Campus every Tuesday from 9am-2pm with food stalls that are just as delicious and 100% more convenient!

7. Find some time for gym
Exercise and de-stress at the King’s London Bridge gym if working out is your thing.
8. Seen Tower Bridge?
Explore London and act like a tourist around Tower Bridge and the sights around Guy’s.
9. Attend a talk
Attend one of the many talks and lectures at one of the many University of London universities, with speakers such as Angelina Jolie, available to you as part of UoL.

10. Do some volunteering
Volunteer at Guy’s or St. Thomas’ Hospital in your spare time and make a real difference to someone’s life.
