What is the Arts Festival?
The KCLSU Arts Festival is a dynamic celebration of creativity, culture, and expression. With a diverse line-up of events organized by our talented student-led arts groups and some great external creative professionals, the festival offers something for everyone, from aspiring artists to those simply looking to explore the art scene. This year’s festival is all about connecting with like-minded individuals, discovering new art forms, and exploring your own creative potential.
When can I go?
The festival runs on April 8, with a completely packed schedule of events from morning until evening. All of these events will be in Strand Campus, so we hope you’ll be able to make time to pay us a visit next to the beautiful Somerset House. If you’re looking to spark your creative ideas, meet other art lovers, or try something new, the Arts Festival is the place to be!
What can you expect from this Festival?
Whether you’re new to the world of arts or a returning enthusiast, the festival offers a variety of exciting opportunities. You’ll be able to meet and connect with creative societies, explore hands-on workshops like zine making and cyanotype photography, and meet professionals who will give you great guidelines for your future career. There’s also a chance to experience the magic of live theatre with the Tony Award-winning Hadestown musical!
And let’s not forget that there will be plenty of fun and social events where you can bond with others who share your passion for the arts!
