Group of the Month

KCL Latin American Society has brought incredible energy, culture, and community to campus through a diverse range of events and initiatives. From brigadeiro-making workshops and reggaeton classes featuring LGBTQ+ artists during LGBTQ+ History Month, they’ve created an inclusive space that celebrates Latin American traditions.

Their online journal, El Cortao, and social media outreach educate and engage members, highlighting important cultural dates like Carnaval and Women’s Day. With strong leadership, high engagement, and collaborations with other societies, they’ve fostered a welcoming and vibrant community. Congratulations on winning Group of the Month!

Project of the Month

The African and Caribbean Medical Society’s LinkedIn & CV Workshop provided invaluable career guidance, teaching medical students how to use LinkedIn for networking, research, and professional growth. The event encouraged exploring interests beyond medicine and featured role models who balance diverse careers.

Attendees gained practical skills and even took professional headshots. With its lasting impact, this project has empowered students to take control of their careers. Congratulations on winning Project of the Month!

Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations Riya, Volunteer of the Month and treasurer of Boundless Compassion Charity Support! Beyond managing finances, she has stepped up to lead key initiatives and support the team when needed. Despite her busy third-year Computer Science studies she always goes the extra mile. BCCS could not have done it without her hard work and dedication – well done Riya!
