Mo Wiltshire KCLSU’s current Chief Executive will be stepping down in June 2018. Search for a successor begins.
After eight years at KCLSU and two decades working with students, Mo Wiltshire KCLSU’s current Chief Executive will be stepping down in June 2018 and hand over to the next KCLSU Chief Executive. Our President Momin Saqib, our Trustee Board and HR team will be working to appoint a successor to Mo and to make sure there’s a smooth transition.
Reflecting on her time at KCLSU, Mo said, “Thank you to each of you that has been part of supporting us in our work to truly Build a Better Union for and with King’s students. Working here has been transformational for me personally as I have learnt so much from our inspiringly passionate and committed students, Student Officers, Union staff and University colleagues. KCLSU is a strong Union with a very bright future.”
Thanking her for her years of service, Momin our President said, “I am proud to say that over the last few years we have been on a journey of growth. A journey which has seen a significant growth in regards to how we support our members to build communities and make change. We’ve seen huge development in our social and activity spaces, our income, our diversity, our relationship with the University and our ability to support over 300 student groups and thousands of events. We’re in the midst of an exciting digital transformation to reshape our systems, our use of data and how we communicate with our 30,000 members across our campuses. In the last year of our current five year plan (which we lovingly call our Big Plan) we are looking for a new CEO to support us in developing our next strategic plan.”
If you know of an inspirational leader who can work with us to build on our successes and be brave enough to pioneer new approaches in the face of a rapidly changing context send them here.
