Student Volunteering Week 2019 will take place from the 11th - 17th February 2019, and now is the time to start thinking about how your society/club can get involved. Whether it’s the American Football Club transforming a community garden, the Photography Society taking some snaps for a charity’s social media page, or the Magic Society doing a performance in a children’s hospital, this national week of action involving over 60 Higher Education institutions is a great opportunity to step up and do your bit. By getting involved you can:

- Make a difference!
- Promote volunteering more broadly
- Showcase your society’s work
- Form key social action partnerships with local organisations
- Receive support to help make your idea a reality

In addition to helping with funding and booking a space for your event, KCLSU can also help connect you with charities, community partners and other societies if required. 

Your activity or event can be connected to your society’s core activity, or it can be something completely different. If you know what you would like to do already, then it would be great if you could fill out this project proposal form. The deadline for submissions is the 4th January, but the sooner you can submit your idea, the better we will be able to support you.
