One World Festival is back again from Monday 23rd January to Friday 27th January!
One World is all about celebrating the diverse cultures, backgrounds and faiths we hold within the King’s Community. The week will bring students from a variety of groups together to showcase different lifestyles and customs, and everyone is invited to be involved so keep an eye out.
As part of a community here at King’s we embrace the diversity of backgrounds of people who come from all over the world to study here in London. This week is a brilliant opportunity to come together and show the solidarity that makes us as a community so strong. We have students from over 150 countries across the world and celebrating this is right at the centre of One World Festival. You can get involved with this by participating in our events and discovering the variety of cultures and traditions we showcase. This is the perfect time to learn the amazing differences that unite us.
We will be hosting our Language Café once again, where you will have the opportunity to speak Spanish, French, English, Mandarin, and much more.?If you are interested in performance, you can check out the One World Carnival, where performers from a variety of different student groups will be performing throughout the day. Cultures from across the world will be showcased in a range of exciting street-style performances.
Of course, again by popular demand we also have the One World Food Festival, which also brings together societies representing different parts of the world to showcase traditional dishes and create connections over a shared love of food.
