The new semester has begun, and so has the exciting events calendar at KCLSU! It’s wonderful to see our buildings filled with students who’ve returned from every corner of the globe. To celebrate the diverse cultures that make up our London campuses, KCLSU is proud to host the One World Festival.

But… What is the One World Festival?
The One World Festival is a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity and inclusion. Hosted by KCLSU, it will feature a range of events from student societies, faith groups, and staff-led initiatives. This year, we’re focusing on exploring the different faiths and cultures of the King’s community, giving you a chance to engage with new perspectives and enrich your university experience as well as your personal growth.
When can I go?
The festival will take place from the 20 to the 31 of January, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the wide variety of events we’ve planned. Suppose you’re looking for something to do between lectures that can help you expand your knowledge of the world, or you have always been curious about specific beliefs without ever having the chance to explore them. In that case, the One World Festival is the right place for you!
What can you expect from this Festival?
Whether you’re new to King’s or a returning student, there’s something for everyone. You can look forward to delicious food from all over the world, movie nights, dance shows, and many other cultural activities. There will also be plenty of social events to help you meet new people and feel part of the wider student community.
If you’re part of a student group, think about how you can get involved and contribute to the festival through your socials and your personal network. It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and share your own cultural heritage!
