Did you know that KCLSU has over 1000 academic reps, who fight for your best academic interests? From providing a listening ear to making sure your voices are heard, academic reps are a key part of what we do. They work alongside their Faculty's student-led Academic Association to make positive, student-led changes.
Hamza Ifthikhar said on becoming the rep for the King’s International Foundation:
"I chose to become a Student Rep because it really matters to be able to make a difference in other people’s lives, especially when they’re in a foreign country. One of the things that I ran on was Student Wellbeing and Student Communication. These students, just like me, have come from different countries, and this is a new environment for them - culture shock, homesickness, and everything. So, being a Student Rep, I was put in a position where I could make a difference in their lives, for the better."
