KCL PRASS is a student led society focusing on plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

We host a large number of events such as lectures and practical workshops including suturing classes where surgeons teach students a variety of skills, from the basics to more advanced flaps.

Our most popular event is the Annual National PRASS Conference where students and junior doctors from across the country come to learn about different aspects of plastic surgery including burns, oncoplastics, orthoplastics, trauma, aesthetics, microsurgery and maxfax. The conference has continued to grow larger each year, with numbers reaching 500 signups and attracting participants from all around the world.

We also host a series of 5 or 6 curriculum events each year. These include a variety of lectures and workshops with learning objectives allowing you to learn about management, techniques, and details of a specific field of plastics. All our curriculum events are led by renowned surgeons across the country.

This year, we are also are running a plastic surgery mentorship programme where students can be matched with a mentor in plastic surgery, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable experience in life as a plastic surgeon.

If you have any ideas or specific interests for any future events, please get in touch with us via our Instagram or Facebook pages! We would love to hear your ideas. By becoming a member today, you will have access to discounted tickets across all our events; a deal not to be missed!

We look forward to welcoming you to PRASS events this year!
