King’s Musical Theatre Society is a place for all those who love Musical Theatre, whether thats on stage or behind the scenes.
Hello and a warm welcome from KMT Soc! After a brilliant year of productions last year, including the mainstages Footloose and Legally Blonde KMT is excited to come back with a bang in September as we bring all our members a whole year of activities, productions, workshops and socials!
Our mainstages for the 2024/2025 year are two highly successful and upbeat fan favourite musicals. In December, we will be kicking off the mainstage productions with hilarious and powerful '9 to 5' The Musical. In April, we will close the year off with the iconic, electrifying 'Fame!' The Musical.
In between these mainstage productions, the year will be packed with smaller productions and showcases, including a Freshers Showcase, Leavers Showcase, and , as well as some smaller-scale, more casual performance opportunities. All production auditions are open to everyone, so there is plenty of opportunity to get involved!
We're so excited to welcome back some familiar faces, and absolutely thrilled to be introducing some wonderful new members to the world of KMT, and hope you're all as excited as we are!
Throughout the year, there will also be plenty of opportunities for those who would rather be behind the scenes in direction, production, choreography or musical direction. Please get in touch if any of these take your fancy, we’d love to hear from you!
KMT is a vibrant, exciting society, and we sure can’t wait to welcome you! It was so wonderful to welcome the KMT community back last year with such incredible productions, and we know that it's only going to get better from here.
