Go for Gold!

The KCLSU Accreditation Scheme is here for all Student Groups!

As one of our 400+ student groups, you are at the heart of KCLSU and we want to celebrate your success and recognise your hard work. The KCLSU Accreditation Scheme is designed to reward you for your achievements throughout the year, help you recruit more members and grow your reputation. Every student group can get involved and strive to achieve gold, silver or bronze accreditation.

How does it work?

  • Every group will be automatically enrolled onto the scheme, so there’s no need for you to sign-up.

  • Your progress will be reviewed by us throughout the year.

  • We will get in touch with you to let you know if you have achieved an award.

What are the benefits?

  • Achieve digital badges (bronze, silver or gold) which will be displayed on your KCLSU web page and for your use on your social media, webpage or other promotional materials.

  • Receive publicity across on our Student Life Instagram page

  • The chance to win the Accreditation Scheme Award at the KCLSU Awards

FAQs:

Can we jump straight to Silver/Gold?

  • Yes, but you must complete all of the bronze criteria before you can reach silver or gold accreditation. There are a minimum number of criteria you need to achieve in each level to achieve your Bronze, Silver or Gold Accreditation.

When will we get our accreditation?

  • Student Group Accreditation will be reviewed continuously throughout the academic year. We will email you with your digital badge once you have achieved an award. We aim to update you at least once a term if you have achieved a new award.

Does criteria that we achieved last year count towards this year’s accreditation scheme?

  • No! The accreditation scheme will reset on 31 July. For you to achieve an award, you must meet the criteria within the same academic year.
